My 12 Weeks on Slimfy – Weeks 4 – 6

If you haven’t already read my other blog post about the first 3 weeks on Slimfy, make sure to read it before this one so that you have the full context of my journey with this weight loss product. I’ve been religiously taking the first stage of Slimfy, and I actually have the pills measured out in my weekly pill container so that I never miss a dose. I’ve found that it’s harder to mentally keep track of my supplements when I’m chasing kids around the house and busy at work, which is why I wanted to measure out the dosages at the beginning of the week.

Weeks 4 - 6

My Slimfy Journey – Week 4

I’m noticing that my pants are continuing to fit a little more loosely, which is a great thing because it means that Slimfy is working! One of the most surprising benefits that I’m noticing is that I find myself humming throughout the day, because I feel happier.
Another thing that I am really starting to notice is the increased energy levels, which make it much easier for me to keep up with the kids. Normally, I come home from work and want to plop down in front of the TV, but today I was feeling great and we went to the park together. Even if Slimfy doesn’t work for weight loss, I’m still happy about the energy benefits because I can spend more quality time with my kids. But, I’ve got a good feeling about this product, and I’m guessing that I will continue to see weight loss as I keep on using it.
I really want my kids to remember me as the fun mom who was out playing with them all the time, instead of the boring and uncool mom who was too out of shape to play at the park. My kids are definitely my motivation to keep going with the Slimfy program, and I’m staying consistent with my eating and supplements because I want to be the mom that they deserve.

My Slimfy Journey – Week 5

My best friend made a comment about my weight loss this week! I decided not to tell any of my friends and family about Slimfy, because I didn’t want to admit that I was wrong if the product didn’t help me to lose weight. But, I couldn’t help but tell her about what I am doing to lose weight.
She commented that my pants were fitting a little better, and she was wondering if I joined the new gym that I was talking about a few weeks ago. I told her about Slimfy, and she’s thinking about doing it with me. I would be great to have someone to talk to along the way!
I’m pretty sure she noticed the weight loss just because she knows me so well, and she is the type of person who would notice something like that before everyone else. They say that you are always the first one to notice changes in your body, followed by close friends and family, and then the public might start noticing after that point. I’m hoping that I will continue dropping the weight so that other people at my office and at church will start to notice the difference. My husband hasn’t really commented on it yet, but I know that he’s been distracted because he’s been so busy with work.

My Slimfy Journey – Week 6Clear Skin

This week, I don’t have much to report, other than the fact that I feel like the cleansing reactions are completely gone now. I noticed some changes in my digestive system early in the program, and I also noticed a few pimples popping up on my face. I hate getting acne, but I knew that it was likely a cleansing reaction because the body is looking for any way to get rid of the toxins. Since the skin is a cleansing organ, it makes sense that the skin would break out a little bit.
Luckily, the breakouts were small and fairly unnoticeable, and a few pimples was well-worth it because I’m starting to feel more comfortable in my skin. My skin has pretty much cleared up now, which tells me that my body has gotten rid of the toxins that built up.
